Softball in January?
January 10th, 2008With the Mary Nutter Clinic in Chicago starting tomorrow, softball season here at Dannco is officially begun. Teams here won’t be playing for a few more months, but the Coaches’ Clinics are the first opportunity to show off the range of equipment that we will be showcasing this year.
Some of the items to be shown are currently featured on the website. The new Louisville Catalyst x1 Composite is a quality bat that we will be bringing to the clinics. We will also be bringing the GMVP series of Mizuno Fastpitch Gloves, which were added to the site last week.
And some of the items we are taking to the show aren’t yet on the website but will be in the coming weeks. Things to look forward to include:
-The Louisville Zephyr Fastpitch Bat
-Jennie Finch Batting Gloves
-Schutt Scorpion Series Catcher’s Gear
As we embark on fastpitch season, the coaches from Texas Tech University provided their Top Ten Reasons They Think Fastpitch is Better than Baseball. While I don’t have a bias between the two sports, I think they do give plenty of reasons to consider fastpitch softball.
